GUIDELINES.

Sleeved is built by collectors, for collectors. These guidelines exist to keep the community welcoming, honest, and worth being part of.

“A collection is personal. So is how we treat each other.”

The best record shops have always been places where collectors come to discover, share knowledge, and connect over music. We want Sleeved to feel the same way — wherever you are in the world, whatever you collect.

BE

RESPECTFUL.

No harassmentHarassment, threats, and personal attacks have no place on Sleeved — in Sleeve Notes, messages, or anywhere else on the platform.
No discriminationContent that demeans people based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or national origin is prohibited.
Constructive criticismYou can critique a release, a pressing, or a recording technique. You cannot attack the person who owns it.

BE

HONEST.

Accurate gradingWhen in doubt, grade conservatively. A VG+ that's really VG damages your reputation and disappoints buyers. Goldmine standards apply.
Real photosListings above $50 require actual photos of your copy — media and packaging. Stock images or press photos don't count.
Truthful descriptionsDisclose known defects: pressing issues, hairlines, ring wear, seam splits, writing, or any condition that affects playback or appearance.
No fake reviewsRating your own items from alternate accounts, coordinating review manipulation with others, or pressuring buyers for positive ratings are all prohibited.

BE

FAIR.

Honor your salesOnce a buyer pays, fulfill the order. Cancellations should be rare and communicated promptly. Repeated cancellations result in review.
Ship on timeShip within the handling time stated in your listing. If there's a delay, message the buyer before they ask.
Respond to buyersRespond to buyer messages within 48 hours. During disputes, engage honestly and provide requested evidence.
No price manipulationArtificial price inflation, shill bidding, or coordinated price-fixing with other sellers are prohibited.

NEVER

ACCEPTABLE.

These items and behaviors result in immediate action, up to and including permanent ban without warning.

Counterfeit itemsBootlegs, unauthorized reproductions, or counterfeits sold as originals. Immediate permanent ban.
Stolen goodsListing items you do not rightfully own. Reported to authorities where required.
Hate speechContent that promotes hatred or violence against any individual or group based on protected characteristics.
Explicit contentSexually explicit content or graphic violence in listings, reviews, or profile content.
SpamMass messaging, automated activity, fake accounts, or any coordinated effort to manipulate the platform.

SEE SOMETHING,

SAY SOMETHING.

Every listing, review, and profile has a report button. Use it. Reports go directly to our moderation queue and are reviewed within 48 hours.

After you file a report: you'll receive a confirmation email. We review the content and take action within 48 hours. You'll receive a follow-up when the review is complete.

False or bad-faith reports are themselves a violation of these guidelines.

CONSEQUENCES &

ENFORCEMENT.

WarningFirst-time minor violations receive a formal warning. The specific violation is documented.
Temporary suspensionRepeated violations or moderate offenses result in a temporary suspension (7–30 days). Active orders are fulfilled first.
Permanent banSerious violations — fraud, counterfeits, harassment campaigns, or repeated offenses after suspension — result in a permanent ban.
Content removalViolating content is removed immediately upon admin review, regardless of account status.

APPEALS &

DISPUTES.

If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you can appeal by emailing support@sleeved.it with the subject line “Appeal: [your username]”.

Include your account details, the specific action you're appealing, and any supporting evidence. We review all appeals within 7 business days and respond with a final decision.

COLLECT TOGETHER.
